The Driving Force Behind the Creation...

Women and Children United Against Violence was first founded back in 2010 by Katrina Stradford. The inspiration behind starting the organization came one day when her eldest daughter was assaulted by a group of neighborhood girls. Her daughter wasn't damaged as much physically from the incident as she was scared emotionally. It shined a whole knew moment of awareness for Mrs. Stradford. As a mom hurt behind, the idea that a group of girls would purposely target her daughter for no reason other than to assault her. Her daughter could have been just like any other parents daughter.

She didn't allow the event to distort her opinion of others children but paid attention to the warning signs that she was given in order to develop a system of help for others like herself. She would turned a negative reaction into a positive reaction. She didn't let the negative actions go unnoticed but instead used it as a tool to help others. She said, "It was as if a higher power was attempting to get my attention".

To put an end to the current epidemic of violence she went through rigorous training and conducted endless research just to be able to equipped others with the necessary tools to reach the youth beyond the knowledge of that was already  known.

Mrs. Stradford is also a self-published author of more than 3 books whose life work is based on the Development of the Soul. She is giving the youth an in depth look at their design, from an emotional standpoint which will give them the tools necessary to choose better choices constructively and to improve upon the quality of their lives. All are welcome to be a part of this positive chain reaction.
